I grew up in rural Iowa. Just 2 weeks after high school, I began training as a cosmetologist at Le Mars College of Beauty. I have been a stylist for 14 years, the last 6 of which have been spent focusing on kids cuts! My favorite thing about working with the little ones is getting to know their big personalities and watching their style grow with them. When I'm not busy cutting hair, I enjoy music, movies, thrift shopping, and spoiling my cats.
I graduated from Capitol School of Hairstyling and Esthetics in 2009. In my nine years of doing hair, eight of those have been specializing in children's cuts. My favorite thing about working at Hip Hip Hair-ay is transforming babies into big kids after their first haircut. I also love getting to know the families personally and watching my clients grow up. In my spare time I love playing with my nephew, going to movies and hanging out with friends.
I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. I am 24 years old. I graduated from Capitol School of Hairstyling & Esthetics in 2013. I have been doing kids hair for 5 years! I have a brother and sister that I absolutely adore. My favorite thing about working at Hip Hip Hair-ay would have to be creating a special bond with the kids and parents and watching them grow up! Time flies when you're having fun! Some of my favorite things to do when I’m not busy at work are shopping, spending time with friends, and cooking!
I'm 26 years old and was born and raised in Omaha. I graduated from Xenon International Academy in 2013 and I have been working as a hairstylist for 5 years. My favorite part of working with kids is watching them grow and building a personal relationship with the child and their family. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and traveling when I can.
My name is Deborah Hollenbeck, owner of Hip Hip Hair-ay and Baby Maestro. HHH was an idea born on a beach when I told my husband that I thought we should open a kid's hair salon. His response was, "It's not a horrible idea." Soooooo Jeff. I initially researched opening a franchise, however, their ideas, decor and retail were all just over the top. I knew we could do it better. And we did!
Jeff and I have 5 amazing children, 3 businesses and I teach 15 Baby Maestro classes a week. In our spare time, we watch our kids play basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball and football, as well as watch track meets, swim meets, marching band and band concerts. Life is Good!
I graduated from EQ School of Hair design in 2010. I am a mother of three amazing children. They are my world and my motivation to succeed in life. After graduation I knew that I wanted to work with kids, I love to get to know them and build a relationship not only with them but with their families. The biggest compliment I can receive is seeing their smiles as they come in for their hair cuts. I have three brothers and three sister, family to me is very important. On my spare time I like to spend time with my husband and my children as well as my family and friends.
